Our Quality

 LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose

We have chosen to produce our shirts and blouses from fabrics containing 100% Viscose (LENZING™ ECOVERO™).

LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibers are certified with the widely recognized EU Ecolabel for textile products (license no. AT/016/001).This label is awarded to products that meet high environmental standards. Key criteria for evaluation include production processes limiting the usage of substances harmful to human health or the environment, and minimizing key environmental impacts.

The responsible production of LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibers uses at least 50% less water and emits at least 50% less CO2 compared to generic viscose fibers, according to Higg MSI^, thereby saving precious resources for future generations.

LENZING™ and ECOVERO™ are trademarks of Lenzing AG

Production & Social Responsibility

All our shirts are produced at Dibella in Bangalore, India.

Dibella is certified according to leading international standards for social and environmental responsibility. For example, Dibella is Fairtrade certified. Additionally, employees receive free medical care, pensions, and courses to help them improve their personal finances and hygiene within their local communities. However, it is important to emphasize that our blouses and shirts do not carry the Fairtrade label, as A Working Theory is not independently certified—there is currently no Fairtrade standard for viscose fibers.

Furthermore, Dibella supports 3,900 marginalized cotton-farming families in phasing out pesticides and increasing their economic income through Chetna Organics. They also invest in infrastructure, such as improving access to education for local children, and initiatives that ensure additional income—particularly for women in villages—outside the harvest season.
