Our Quality

 LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose

We have chosen to produce our shirts from materials that contain 100% viscose (LENZING™ ECOVERO™).

LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibers are certified with the recognized EU environmental label for textile products (license no. AT/016/001). This label is awarded to products that meet high environmental standards.

Important criteria for evaluation include production processes that limit the use of substances that are harmful to human health or the environment, and minimize significant environmental impacts.

The responsible production of LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibers uses at least 50% less water and emits at least 50% less CO2 compared to regular viscose fibers according to Higg MSI^, preserving valuable resources for future generations

LENZING™ and ECOVERO™ are trademarks of Lenzing AG.

The material feels like silk between the hands, but is more practical as it can be washed at normal 30 degrees. The material is durable and breathable and retains its color beautifully, even after repeated washings.

Production & Social Responsibility

All our shirts are produced at Dibella in Bangalore, India.

Dibella is certified according to leading international standards for social and environmental responsibility. For example, Dibella is Fairtrade certified. In addition, the employees receive free medical treatment, a pension and courses to help them improve their personal finances and hygiene in their local area. However, it is important for us to emphasize that our blouses and shirts do not carry the Fairtrade label, as we, at A Working Theory, are not certified ourselves, as there is no Fairtrade standard for viscose fibres.

In addition, Dibella also supports 3900 marginalized cotton-producing families to phase out pesticides and increase their economic income through Chetna Organics, and investments are made in infrastructure that e.g. supports local children's schooling, and measures that ensure income outside the harvest season, especially for women in the villages.
